Our Causes

Alissa and I have many causes that have touched our lives and brought to our attention the need for us to give back to our community through our love of sports and being active.  To our beginnings as riders in the AIDS Rides around the country to the various duathlons, triathlons, running events, adventure races, volunteering and mentoring we are participating in this year...our lives have been transformed though helping others while doing all the activities we so love to do.  We are are blessed by all those we meet along the way.  Below are some of the charities we have donated time, money and energy to in the past few years...and the list continues to grow.

Alissa's mom, Lynn Magrum is participating in the
Rock 'n Roll 1/2 Marathon in Virginia Beach Sunday September 1st benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  She has been training all summer and we are very proud of her...go mom!

AIDS/LifeCycle is the official cycling event of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. AIDS/LifeCycle is rallying cyclists, volunteers and donors to raise needed funds to support critical HIV/AIDS services.
